Karl Rove responds to controversy over his speculation if Fmr. Gov. Sarah Palin will indeed enter the GOP field. Rove said chances are she will jump in, but was not definitive in his observation.
"I'm mystified," Rove said about reaction to his speculation. "Look, she is all upset about this saying how I am trying to sabatouge her in some way. How do I speculate on her future."
"Look, if she doesn't want to be speculated about a potential presidential candidate there is an easy way to end the speculation. Simply say 'I'm not running.' Instead, every time she pops up in the public eye like she did on CNN, at the Iowa State fair a short number of days ago. she said 'I haven't made a decision.'"
"I'm just speculating that more likely than not she is going to be a candidate."
"Now I said 'I wouldn't bet a lot of money on it' because it is such a close thing and I am not privy to her thought-making process. But it is sign of enormous thin-skin that if we speculate about her, she gets upset. And I suspect if we didn't speculate about her, she would be upset and getting ways to get us to speculate about her."

Thank you for explaining it and hopefully people will start seeing the writing on the wall. This election is critical period.
We have got to win this time or else we can kiss the US as we know it goodbye.
I ended our conversation and now you are going to follow me around? I don’t think so.
I think the longer she stays out the less she affects the others. Some people pick a candidate and commit to them regardless of who else may jump in, especially during the primaries when we can vote for who we want and not for the lesser of the evils.
Sorry, I was laughing at the irony that we both support the same candidate after all of our disagreements. I’ll leave you alone.

“It just dawned on me that Sarah might have a darn good strategy going on.The libs NEED to undermine announced candidates and they’d love to get their claws into Sarah as soon as possible. Yet, they are effectively muzzled by Sarah’s unknown intentions.IOW, she’s driving them even crazier than they already are and I find that quite amusing.”
Exactly, but it is Rove and his ilk that this strategy is driving insane. Thus, the attacks, the snarkiness, the futile attempts to goad the Palin camp in conforming to Rove’s timetable, none of which is working, is a joy to watch.
That all said......I'd vote for a rock, if that rock will kick Obama's ass and his policies to the curb.
You’ve fallen for Rove’s spin. He was clearly trying to set her up by pretending he had inside information, concluding that she would need to announce on September 3rd—or it’ll be too late and her supporters will abandon her.
All she did was correct the falsehood he was planting that he knew her unannounced schedule.
Why do you find JR’s comments too funny?!
And then you tell that poster to not post to you????
Seems to me...you were / are in the wrong.
We have to be careful. It HAS to be someone that can pull the US back from the brink.
That seems unwise to me.
What?
That a post of fact. Karl Rove is the only one claiming "she is upset with him". Two different issues.
No, you said that is what your wife thought and you had no response. Does your wife do all your thinking for you?
I made no comments about the poster. I was speaking directly to them in Post 163.
Might want to check your sources closer. cBS news is the one claiming that statement by Sarah Pac is a “shot at Karl Rove”. Sarah Pac says no such thing.
I mean this in the nicest possible way, but in matters political your wife is a moron.
