But at the same time, not unexpected. Jobs survived and continued working, thinking, dreaming, innovating, for better than half a decade after his cancer diagnosis. He seems to have taken it in stride, probably in keeping with his Buddhist beliefs, and will pass on with one of the greatest legacies in modern times. It is very sad... at the same time, I doubt that Jobs has many regrets.

I have lost friends to cancer, and been with them to the end. So I guess the picture of a frail, haggard Jobs does not surprise me.
