Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush warned the Republican presidential hopefuls against ideological intransigence and knee-jerk opposition to President Barack Obama on Tuesday, saying they risk turning off middle-of-the-road voters.
Asked by Fox News host Neil Cavuto if some Republicans go too far in their criticism of Obama, Bush said flatly, I do. I think when you start ascribing bad motives to the guy, thats wrong. It turns off people who want solutions.

We went the kid gloves route in ‘08. Obummer steamrollered McLame. It was a massive failure. You saw how fast Obummers polls sank in just a week of Trump pummeling him everyday. People are angry. Time to direct that anger squarely on the WH. Hit Obummer hard everyday.

warned the Republican presidential hopefuls against ideological intransigence Where "ideological intransigence" means both expressing and living one's principles. We can't have that, eh Jeb? It's just so gauche.

"Many people dont get the liberalism vs conservative fight." Then it's time to teach them. If we win on the economy alone, then what do we do when the economy improves and some Slick Willie type comes along, talking smooth platitudes, and shoving stealth tyranny down our throats? If we don't start converting some of these fair-weather voters, we'll never accomplish a damn thing.

Jeb Bush is pro-amnesty for illegal immigrants, and so is Barack Obama. IMHO, Jeb wants amnesty to succeed with BO making it happen.

The Bushes and Obamas are actually kin folk
To: mlocher
Agreed. Basically, Jeb is saying it's OK to criticize Obama on the economy, but don't JUST criticize. Repubs have to talk about solutions.
True.

It turns off people who want solutions. The solution I want is obama out of office. Jeb can go away with him.

Ive never heard anybody in my family say anything but good things about Rick Perry, Bush said. Maybe with Karl hes around here all the time, you can ask him. Not with my brother and not with me.
I knew the whole Bush-Perry fight was a setup by Perry Apologists to make Perry look tough and independent.

No more Bushes in the White House! There's an old saying in Florida - I know it's in Northeast New England (Kennebunpork), probably in Boston too - that says, fool me once, shame on - shame on you. Fool me - you can't get fooled again.
