I’ve never read a single one of his books. Are they any good?

I stopped reading King in the late 80's/early 90's. Moved on to other things. However, my opinion is that he has great ideas, most stories start off slow getting the scene set and all the characters introduced but overall worth the read. One other problem is that he doesn't follow sentence structure well. I like to say he doesn't write run on sentences, he writes run on paragraphs.

He’s a lib loon but I have thoroughly enjoyed his books through the years. It must be his style or something. “The Stand” is the best piece of fiction I have ever picked up and read. If you would like to read a shorter book that is nonetheless very, very good try “Pet Sematary”.

Ive never read a single one of his books. Are they any good I thought his earlier ones were pretty good.
The Stand was my favorite.
Then he seemed to lose his mojo and the books became somewhat boring, tedious and formulaic, IMO.
