Now if King hosted a show himself, he’d have a shot at getting some ratings. Hiring a Green Party VP candidate? Yeah, whatever you say, Steve.

I read a number of his early fantasies, but I feel absolutely no urge to re-read them, as I often do with writers that I like.
He has a natural imaginative talent, but I think he has misused it, so it has abandoned him.

“The Pulse” like the horrible novel that he wrote a couple of years ago?

King said he respected his Mom for her refusal to "go on the Government" even though she suffered poverty.
Now here he is pushing others to do that very thing.
Stephen, listen to your Mother!!

Mr King has a perfect right to throw his money away in whatever manner pleases him. We have a perfect right to laugh at him for it.

From Wikipedia on the plot synopsis of 2009’s “Under The Dome.”
Shortly before noon on October 21 of an unspecified year after 2012 (evidenced by mention of a faded bumper sticker for Barack Obama’s successful 2012 re-election campaign
Now that scares the sh*t out of me right there!

The network headquarters will be moving soon to THE DARK TOWER. The new radio programs will be staffed with a SKELETON CREW until the NIGHT SHIFT has been hired. Programming hasn't been finalized; but it's expected that it will be divided into DIFFERENT SEASONS. CHRISTINE and CARRIE were among the staff, who had problems getting to work on time, because of all the ROADWORK nearby.

Limbaugh used to be carried by WZON...King purchased the station and changed it to a sports format to drive Limbaugh off the air in that area. Natch; another station picked him up, and that station carries Rush to the present day.
Oh, and Steve..? How about those Rangers last night?

Hmm, he might be on to something. Hearing lefties talk can be just as scary as a good horror novel!

I quit reading King when he painted pro-lifers as sociopathic, inbred mouth breathers.
Anyone who has read “Insomnia” knows what I mean.

Hey Steve, have at it. Do you think the average conservative cares one whit? Apparently King hasn’t come out that cave he’s been living in to realize that virtually all Hollyweird entertainment and all the network news and programming are irredeemably liberal? I guess not.

He lost me with
"Writer Stephen King: If You Can't Read, You'll End Up in the Army or Iraq."

Sounds like Kerry: "You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well. If you dont, you get stuck in Iraq.

During the news conference King said, "We're a little to the left, but we're right."We're right, you're wrong.
