speaking of waves.. re: the hospital corridor waves..

I was in a open space area during the 1980 Morgan Hill 6.0 quake near San Jose, I saw waves moving across the ground and light poles and such swaying quite vigorously from side to side .. I was on the phone with wifey who was 15 miles away under desk at work thru the whole thing..

The Loma Prieta was pretty intense too, going home on the freeway, listening to the pre-world series festivities on the radio , and then bouncing around on the freeway like we were on balloon tires.. everybody stopped. I saw the buildings in downtown shaking pretty good.. that one sloshed quite a bit of water out of the pool that day

That would be fairly unnerving for me. Glad you and the Mrs. made it thorough okay.

Just be glad you weren’t on or under that double decker section of freeway. Now that would scar you for life even if you did make it.
