Add Karl Rove to the list of people Sarah Palin's camp is denouncing.
POLITICO's Juana Summers flags this statement from the Sarah PAC website, which - without naming him - takes an unmistakable swipe at the former White House adviser to George W. Bush:
Three years ago DC pundits predicted with glee the demise of Sarah Palin's political career. This past weekend their tune changed, citing false information that she has made a decision and set a date regarding a future campaign.
Any professional pundit claiming to have "inside information" regarding Governor Palin's personal decision is not only wrong but their comments are specifically intended to mislead the American public. These are the same tired establishment political games that fuel the 24 hour news cycle and that all American's will hopefully reject in 2012, and this is more of the "politics-as-usual" that Sarah Palin has fought against throughout her career.
PS - Kudos to CNN for setting the record straight, and including Governor Palin's own words.
Rove had said on Fox News last weekend that he believed Palin was running, based in part on her schedule in Iowa (as best as I can tell she only has the one, large-scale event in Des Moines scheduled, for Sept. 3).
Peter Hamby of CNN noted earlier that there is not exactly a river of trust between Palin and Rove, but the public pushback was a bit of a surprise.
I agree.
I just don’t think it will be 2012
>> “The MSM is extremely evilcontrolled by a very few perverted homosexual pagan men who hate God and strong, moral women.” <<
.
Absolutely correct.
Especially Rupert Murdoch.
Heh! Would not disagree at all! She is my second pick, Bachmann at this point but if she enters, she has my support. Actually will take almost any Republican entry at this point...
The Bushies would cancel his ticket with prejudice if he made the slightest move toward Palin.
I’m a big supporter of Sarah and I can honestly say I haven’t a clue anymore if she will or won’t run, but I’m good with what ever decision she makes.
Yes she is. I can see her out in that open boat hauling in the salmon or in the bush stalking game back in Alaska. You have to develop patience, timing and a hunters sense when you are after game or fish. You cannot make a fish or elk come to you. you have to stalk them, and listen to the signs that tell you where they are.
She has done this before. She has a hunter's eye and patience.
The press can't see her. They don't know what she is doing and they want to control her. Rove is so clumsy in his attempt to be a kingmaker and to try to steal Sarah's campaign. They cannot see or grab on to her and it drives them crazy. This is politics as a high art.
Sarah is outside the box, inside the loop and under the radar.
Regards, Mr Sol.
“little patience in the waiting games she’s playing”
If, she runs (I think she is), She is playing to WIN. She has a strategy that she is following which she thinks is to her benefit to WIN. Who the hell are we (you) to tell her she is taking too long? Not “fair” to the other candidates? Tough noogies. This is hard ball. She saw all the mistakes that can be made in a presidential campaign last time. She won’t repeat them, and won’t have people telling her what to do, when. Especially the desk chair, political experts here on FR, you or me.
were disorganized, but we share something very powerful in our hearts. we know when its all over, its gonna be a tsunami, and Sarahs detractors are going to be non-consequential. it feels just like Reagan and the Contract with America, & 2010, but more so."
Yes and it will be so much more so. Thanks for your insight. A very good summation of how many of us feel.

What stickywille said...particularly the “in our hearts” part.
And some of us (probably more of us than you could imagine even on a rational day) are not joining in the conversation, but sitting back and watching it all unfold, calmly and patiently.
Pawlenty, being from Minnesota as well, and putting all his eggs in one basket, Iowa, found out early that he is a DORK, and no one wants a dork for president.
As for the rest of them, they won or lost NOTHING. They risked nothing and won nothing from a nothing event.
Sarah was paving the way for the actual, voting for delegates, in the Iowa Caucuses.
(February 6th, 2012. However, the new tentative date for the Iowa Caucus is going to be in January of 2012 because various states have been adjusting their Primary schedules, moving them up earlier in the year to secure a more prominent date.)

You may be onto something. I recall that she promised to announce her candidacy on the Bob and Mark talk radio show that is out of Alaska. http://bobandmark.com/ But she could be anywhere when she does that. Interesting. Well, we shall see won't we.

Ping to thread
I think you may be correct. In her yard, with that beautiful lake in the background, surrounded by her beautiful family. “FAMILY VALUES”! I can picture the scene in my head!
Levin has been merciless in sticking it to Rove lately...when it comes to Levin or Palin, Rove is out of his league
And some of us (probably more of us than you could imagine even on a rational day) are not joining in the conversation, but sitting back and watching it all unfold, calmly and patiently."
Beautiful.
“Sarah Palin’s Announcement”. Will she?, or won't she? Tune in next week for another exciting episode. It could be the week she actually announces, or not. It will be exciting to “maybe” find out, You Betcha! Stay Tuned!
You said it. If I recall Todd said one time that she is fiercely competitive. (Well so is he. Just look at his iron man races.)
Tammy Bruce said on Saturday that Sarah may well be waiting to see how much volunteer support will rise up to help her win. Click Here to Listen to The Interview Additionally I think she is giving her supporters as much time as possible to build a network and organization to handle the incredible explosion once she announces.
Regards, Mr. Sol.
Heh heh thanks...
Lots of grasshoppers around, but too busy spitting ‘backy juice out their butts to lean from old Mr MeAugie
