n a motion to dismiss rape charges against Dominique Strauss-Kahn, Manhattan prosecutors today reported that an analysis of carpet stains in the Frenchmans $3000-per-night Sofitel hotel room contained the semen and DNA of three unknown men, while a stain on the rooms wallpaper contained the semen and DNA of a fourth unknown man.
The revelation that the swanky 28th floor suite was semen-soaked is contained in a footnote in a New York State Supreme Court recommendation for dismissal filed by prosecutors with the Manhattan district attorneys office.
As for the source of that stray semen, investigators noted that, the circumstances under which the unidentified DNA was deposited are unrelated to the encounter between the 62-year-old Strauss-Kahn and hotel maid Nafissatou Diallo.
On August 8, Diallo, 32, filed a civil lawsuit accusing Strauss-Kahn, former head of the International Monetary Fund, of sexually assaulting her in mid-May at the Times Square-area hotel.

Never heard of Harvey Wallbanger?
You bad!
I always thought the coffee had extra flavor! ;-P
You get what you pay for./s
I've heard of Harvey's Wallbangers.
“OHHHHH!!! OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!”
I've heard the same words of caution from several airline pilots over the past ten years or so.
Some days this job is its own reward.
Vodka, Galliano, and orange juice.
This thread is confirming all my phobias about motel rooms.
I already throw the bedspread in the corner, and won’t use the remote. Or walk barefoot.
Now it’s bedbugs, and this?
Some hotel chain could do well publicizing that they literally wash the entire room, bedspread, carpet all of it, every new guest. Bedbug treatment. Wash the pillows. Sanitize the phone.
Everything.
Heck most charge so much, it would be a great angle. What would a complete sanitize of every room cost to pull off?
$20 maybe? When done in bulk.
Bet it would pay off.

Had to stop after four. Budget cuts, deficit crisis, no more OT.
Who pays? And I don’t mean for the room.
Ahhh I would be most cheaper motels (not this in article hotel) are far far worse than 3 or 4 stains. Most money you handle has traces of semen on it. Just part of life.
Yes because liars and prostitutes are the most trust worthy.
And the “so-called victim” is both.
I traveled for years, stayed in locally owned and operated motels. Did I suspect that sometimes those rooms were rented by the hour......of course. But of all the things that I might worry about, motel cleanliness was at the bottom of the list. I once stayed in a motel in Kentucky advertised to be “ Dutch Clean “ and found slugs and plant growth in the shower stall......Passed on that one the next time!!!
forget it, most people could care less. They realize that using a room that is used by the public, is not the same as your own room. Get over your phobia....other than bed bugs, most of the other stuff is harmless
