I don’t think he did. He was imprisoned by the Brits for trying to get the Nazis to help Egypt oust the Brits. He was in the Egyptian army since 1938 and then was in prison in WWII. I don’t think he ever fought for the Nazis.

His loyalties were to his country. Millions of people around the world looked toward the Nazis to liberate them and their nations from oppressors: Indians, Estonians, Finns, Latvians, Lithuanians, Ukrainians, Arabs, Persians, etc.

Talking to an Egyptian friend of mine, I told him it was in Egypt’s interest to have an ally on their northern border; besides, Israel has nukes. He replied and said that 80 million Egyptians would be right behind the first nuke Israel launched (in a hypothetical defensive scenario). Silly Egyptian....he has no idea what happens when a nuke goes off, and it’s after effects. Nor does he appreciate the amount of nukes Israel has: they can wittel 80 million down to 8000, while destroying all the lines of communication to get to Israel.
the Neutron Bomb is the ultimate tactical anti-personnel weapon. The Sinai would be a mass graveyard.
