President Obama’s ten days on Martha’s Vineyard aren’t really a vacation, Press Secretary Jay Carney said last week, because “the presidency follows him” wherever he goes. If you need proof, just look at the accompanying photo. It shows the president being briefed on matters of great import. One might describe him as looking “intense.”
OK, only the most gullible sap is going to be taken in by staged images of Obama looking presidential. Perhaps mindful of that grim reality, his entourage is keeping a lower profile this summer than in previous years. Jake Tapper of ABC News wrote the day before the president’s arrival on the island:
There are fewer welcoming signs on houses. A few flags are flying at homes, and the hotel housing the press corps is covered with red, white and blue bunting. But other than that, and several Secret Service agents strolling the streets, there aren’t a lot of signs that the commander in chief is heading here for a week and a half.

Hole 8 - Frostbottom
The 8th is a long par three that plays across the corner of the Frost Bottom. Again from a high tee, it is a stern test as befits a good penultimate hole but there is lots of room off to the left of the green from where recoveries should not be too demanding. Most play will be from the 180 yards tee, so do not be too daunted by the back tee.

Oh, POTUS Obama is grim alright!!! Two things put him at great unease today. Libya which now will be the same radical Muslim terrorist mess that Obama created in Egypt and the Rasmussen poll has Obama at -24 in the Daily POTUS approval poll, the highest negative rating Obama has ever gotten. And......then...the cherry on the cake!!! VP, Joe Biden is crying out in the press how he has met almost all the World leaders in the last thirty years or so. Biden’s preamble to him becoming POTUS when Obama is forced to resign by his own Democrat Party who fears Obama will sink all Democrats, come November, 2012!!! I would say, beware the ides of March, but.....beware of the CBC and the long knives being sharpened by Obama supporters. Tyrants and dictators are always brought down from within!!!
