President Barack Obama says members of Congress should put country before politics, set aside their differences and find ways to get people back to work.

The president is vacationing on Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts, but he recorded his weekly Saturday radio and Internet address earlier in the week while in Alpha, Ill., during an economy-focused Midwestern bus tour.

But The One said “I won”

So he reaps what he sows. He’s like the college kid who maxed the credit cards and now needs Mommy and Daddy to bail his sorry ass out.

Yeah, the GOP is impeding progress if you define jobs progress as borrowing money for temporary government funded make-work jobs and support of union and government supporters.

None of the jobs Obama wants to generate are real jobs in the sense of being economically useful—that is, either longer term than the money funding them, or yielding a significant return above the borrowing rates by building capital. Infrastructure sounds good, but “shovel ready isn’t shovel ready” hasn’t changed.

If he was smart, which he isn’t, he wouldn’t be rattling off this nonsense while vacationing @ Martha’s Vineyard. He should be back in Washington trying to fix the job problem...or at least “appearing” to be working.

More proof that Barack the Kenyan is clueless as to how government works. The ‘RATS have had the Congress since 2006. They didn’t do a damn thing. He had super majorities from 2008 to 2010. Barry and his ‘RATS didn’t do a damn thing to help the economy and employment. They only made things worse. Stuff it Barry!

Ok if he wants Congress to create jobs. End the EPA, reduce the capital gains tax to 16%. Give Amnesty to businesses that return their Corporate mail drops back to America and close their offshore accounts. Make America a right to work Country. Make all retirement plans the same as Social Security. That will get people to save and invest on their own.

The Senate is the problem....don’t let the magic negro smooth talk anyone about this...

They’ve sent Congress a Bill to repeal Obamacare,

a Bill to end taxpayer funded abortions,

a Bill to eliminate taxpayer funding for presidential campaigns and conventions, a Bill to end gov’t funding for National Public Radio,

a Bill to provide a school choice program for low income students,

a Bill prohibiting Obama’s attempt to pass a backdoor Energy Tax through the regulation of Greenhouse gases.....

All of these stuck in the Senate! Why will any jobs bill the Repubs come forth with get any traction? The Senate will not allow it.

If Obama had been President in 1941 he would have blamed Pearl Harbor on Herbert Hoover.

Obama forgets that he had a Democrat Congress for two years who passed his stimulus, while he promised unemployment wouldn't go above 8% if it was passed. He got his stimulus, borrowed and spent trillions, and now he wants to blame everyone else because it didn't work.

Michelle Bachmann may have a problem with gaffes, but none of her gaffes have cost us trillions and resulted in MORE unemployment.

Let’s see, a democratic congress and President had their way for two years. Passing numerous stimulus packages and Obamacare. It didn’t work, no recovery and the Republicans have called Obama on it. Now it’s suddenly the fault of the GOP? What do you expect from from a President who needs a teleprompter to take a pee?

What a tool! Look at Saunders’ slides on GDP. How is zero growth in consumer expenditures the fault of Republicans? Ony business spending is increasing!

http://confoundedinterest.wordpress.com

Obama wants the GSEs to refi all mortgages at 4%. See Saunders’ blog on why this won’t do much for GDP growth.

I think you misread The Won's intentions. He's saying, if Congress would just get out of the way, his socialist solutions would have fixed everything by now.

He's still stuck on socialism. He is preaching that Congress refusing to go along with his socialist agenda is slowing job growth.

He's trying to turn us into Cuba, a nice place where everyone has a job and free health care.

Everything is proceeding according to the plan.

Photobucket

It was the Communist plan in 1934. It is 0bama’s Communist plan today.
