They were hiking in Iraq and accidentally crossed the border. In the beautiful mountains there. I’m serious, they really are pretty. Not as nice as Montana but much more exotic. I bet if you went to some hiking message board you’d find Trust Funders pimping places like Iraq and Azerbaijan.
Perhaps they would have been better off hiking in New Zealand. Not only would they have been safe from the Iranian government, they might have even gotten to see “The Shire.”
