I think they will both try to take her out at once. They know that she has broad TEA support and will not want to face her with momentum. And that’s a good strategy overall. The problem is that I think that her support goes well beyond the TEA Party and a lot of people are just too scared to publicly state ANY support because doing so immediately loses friends, family and employment in liberal owned/ran workplaces.

IF they DO both attack, Identity politics takes over on it’s own. But because of the YEARS of the media doing that very thing, people will perceive it as ganging up on the girl because that’s how we have been now-hardwired to think by the attack dog crap they pulled. People HATE the media more than Palin and Mitt and Rick will suffer the association.

I am NOT saying Palin will or would intentionally pull that card. I do NOT believe she would.

I am saying it will be “Perceived” by the public, and if Perry and Romney do NOT both attack her, that will be the reason. They do not want to be seen as ganging up on the girl.

Now... if they DO do it, she gets the boost. If they do not, she can deal with them individually and that’s even WORSE for them. Both of them have decidedly unconservative and other questionable points she can easily slam them on and they have no recourse but to fall back to Democrat tactics to counter her. They can’t do it based on her policies and positions.

Romney goes down first as he is weak on the best day and has never once been pressed on Romneycare of his flipflop record. Ever.

Perry is tougher because he HAS a few good things behind him. Very good things. But open border/guardisil and AL GORE will end him.

Believe it!!!...or not ;)

You make good sense to me. They’re both trying to copy her policies, particularly Perry, and she has made certain to state twice now, once to Megyn Kelly and again to Lou Dobbs, that she wrote about Quantative Easing 10 months before Perry talked about it...lol.

All good reasons, but ran into some info yesterday about Perry's contributors being set up with nice positions in his administration and that his kids ended up employed with one his supporters. The quid pro quo and "crony capitalism" aspects of this will take him out, imho. Perry is a politician looking for self gain and gratification. Palin is a citizen who happens to be in politics. The distinction is crystal clear.
