Let’s hope that he’ll do the honorable thing and withdraw, if she runs in order to avoid splitting the Republican vote.
I don’t think he’ll withdraw. He should go onto knock out Romney, but folks voting for Governor Perry won’t be Palin TEA PARTY voters, since Perry is much more akin to President Bush: not TEA Party conservative, more on the moderate side.
If he's anything, Perry's a politician's politician. I believe that he'd set it up just like that, in order to save face, and to "get back to serving the people of the Great State of Texas."
He's got a variant of Sarah's political skills, but it's a much lower harmonic.
