US election 2012: Michele Bachmann snubs Rick Perry at Iowa Republican dinner
Michele Bachmann has angered some Republicans in Iowa by snubbing Governor Rick Perry of Texas, her new White House rival, at a party dinner, insisting on her own lighting and entering the hall "like she was Madonna".

Plus he’s for comprehensive immigration reform. That Bachmann isn’t for any kind of amnesty.
Perry signed the Dream Act, Texas style. A great article appeared in the NY Times touting it.
When you cannot even get the most basic facts correct, one has to suspect you are emoting, not thinking. Sorry you hate Bachmann, get over it.
I would say that was a smart move on her part,That Texas RINO has nothing to offer.
Bachmann is the RINO, not Perry.
1. Perry has an A+ rating from the National Rifle Association
2. Perry signed castle doctrine legislation, enhancing a person’s legal right to use deadly force in self defense against an intruder within one’s place of residence.
3. Perry set a record in the 2001 legislative session for the use of the veto: he rejected legislation a total of 82 times, more than any other governor in any single legislative session in the history of the state since Reconstruction.
4. In May 2011, Perry signed a “Mandatory Ultrasound Bill” which stipulates that, prior to every abortion, the abortion practitioner or a certified sonographer must perform a sonogram before any sedative or anesthesia is administered.
5. Also in 2011, Perry signed a bill that prohibited taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood.
Now you tell me, of the 5 issues I named above, what do you disagree with?
When you cannot even get the most basic facts correct, one has to suspect you are emoting, not thinking.
Sorry you hate Bachmann, get over it.
There seem to be 3 things that people are ticked at Perry about:
1) the super highway. I thought it was a decent idea. We need the road, we can’t afford to build it, a foreign company will do so on condition they get the tolls. So??? No one has to use it and it’s business that they get their money back.
2) the Gardisal horror. Perry got a little over-enthusiastic on that one, probably because of his wife. Maybe he ‘submits’ to her. (try that one, CNN). But it’s not as though Gardisal is a bad thing — it’s still recommended. And it’s not as though this was the first vaccine required for public school attendance.
3) The Border. This is more of a toughie to me. Perry knows where he is, at least now. Texas is rife with Mexicans; you can’t stay popular and be too negative about border stuff. Politics, you say? Well, yeah. I have a feeling he will be much more tough on border issues on a national stage and what does he have to lose. He’s already governor and he can’t be governor of Texas forever — or can he?
In which case why are you wasting time and bandwidth coming here to trash talk her?
I see Bachmann going on NBC MTP and other shows taking the MSM on face to face, even when insulted she takes them on again fearless. She has got guts and strength to do that. The Sharon Angle strategy of hiding from the MSM to avoid questions didnt work out too well for her, or us.
Since Perry is in the title of this thread, he is looking more and more RINO every-day.
Should I laugh???
How about the Dream act.
How about Helping Muzzies build a Mosque/Muslim statehouse.
How about his Hate crimes Laws?
I see RINO!!!
Did you ever think that maybe she had a headache, thats why she stayed in the bus until the last minute?
1. Perry does not believe there is valid scientific proof of anthropogenic global warming. He has said several times that there is no scientific consensus on the issue.
2. Perry opposes regulation of greenhouse gas emissions because he says it would have “devastating implications” for the Texas economy and energy industry.
3. In 2003, Perry called three consecutive special legislative sessions to procure a congressional redistricting plan he said would be more reflective of the state’s population. The plan finally adoptedsupported by then U.S. House Majority Leader Tom DeLay of Sugar Landbrought about a five-seat Republican gain in the delegation.
Again, what do you disagree with?
You’re wrong. Bachmann is by far and away more liberal than Perry. It’s not even close.
Did you know that Bachmann signed on to Obama’s renewal of the Patriot Act this year? What was that about?
Why don’t you answer my question - do you oppose the NRA or favor abortion rights?
Let me ask you a question. Let's assume you carry concealed. Now let's say you were in this store as this group entered and began removing property and walking out. Would you be justified in opening fire?
Of course not. Your life was never in any real danger. Yet people here are equating this incident with Wisconsin and Philly. Emotional responses. The law, however, sees these types of incidents differently. IMHO, the law is not 'pathetic', as you put it.
Try : Governor of Texas Signs a Hate Crimes Bill
Not to mention his Dream Act giving college tuition discounts to illegals, even Maryland RINOs are fighting that one. And he came out publically in opposition to the Arizona Immigration law, bad news.
Wow. Wrong thread. How did that happen?
You’re correct, there is something amiss. This behavior is not consistent with the Bachmann we’ve seen this past two years or so.
Nor is it consistent with the caucus result—she won.
Unless other credible info surfaces I believe this “story” is a desperate lie perpetrated by Perry and the Onada propaganda organs.
I mean along comes Perry, concurrent with signing a Texas hate crimes bill (usually a demrat vehicle for silencing their opposition) saying he wants to run for Pres. as a conservative. It’s laughable and demonstrates his political elitest arrogance. How long has he been Texas governor?
Perry is the GOPs replacement for the extinguishing RINO Romney.
You go Bachmann, no one wants any flip flopper slung on them, flip him the bird for me.
