Uh no, I did nothing of the kind.

Perry looks a lot like George Bush!

Thanks for the link. I normally try and avoid anything written by the leftists ay Politico, however, I read the story. I think you're gonna make yourself crazy radically changing your opinion with every story you read. Back in the late 80's, I was a scientist working in a lab M-F. I read all the literature I could find so I'd be current.

Anthropogenic global warming wasn't on anyone's radar back then except for Algore. No one was trying to destroy the global economy back then based on a bunch of fabricated data. I think I'll give Perry a pass for that.

Here are some of my favorite quotes from that article:

There are some legitimate issues where Perry deserves criticism. Then there are others that are much ado about nothing. Yours appear to be with the latter.

Maybe so--but Herman Cain, Michele Bachmann, and Sarah Palin ALWAYS make sense. Why bother with someone who sometimes does, sometimes doesn't, sometimes has, sometimes hasn't???

Perry's appeal is underwhelming.

Herman Cain = Stellar resume and rock solid conservative. Can't win.

Michele Bachmann = Solid conservative. Can't win. When was the last time a congressperson was elected president?

Sarah Palin = Same as above. Not running.

I want to see the most conservative person elected but I want to win. I also try and look at the world as it is rather than what I wish it could be. This country cannot survive another four years of the Marxist.

Perry's appeal is underwhelming because that's what you want to see. At this point, Perry has the most appeal, best message, strongest organization and enough financial support to win. If and when he does, I hope you'll find a reason to support him.

I hope I will too. And, as I say, I will vote for Donald Duck if he'll kick the Democrats out of Washington.

However, this is not a plus: strongest organization

"Rick Perry made national headlines in 2009 when, during a speech to a Tea Party group, he floated the possibility that Texas could secede from the union."

Okay. Now we're getting somewhere.

When Texas resecedes--and takes the other SANE states with it--the Leftist enclaves can descend into the communist Third World hellholes that they deserve to be.

To beat an entrenched Marxist with a $1 billion war chest, you better bet having the strongest organization will make a huge difference.

"Printing more money to play politics at this particular time in American history is almost treacherous — or treasonous, in my opinion."

In mine too.

No. I say: Printing more money to play politics at this particular time in American history is almost treacherous — or treasonous, in my opinion.
