Congratulations, Bachmann!! Go, tea party!!
You left off Perry, with little over 700 votes, as a write-in candidate, beating Romney.

I biggest problem here is that Pawlenty came in third. I was hoping he would drop out....he ticked me off in the last debate. Ron Paul’s number mean nothing...so I don’t care he came in second. I am glad to see Santorum did as well as he did...Cain not too bad either.
Anyway, I am pleased that Bachman got a boost. I think Perry showed ZERO class to announce when he did and draw attention away from this event. I’m already suspicious of him....his actions make me more so.
If Sarah Palin is going to run, I wished she would announce ASAP. I feel she will bring good things to the primary even if she doesn’t win.
.The results were as follows: Out of 16,892 votes cast, Mrs. Bachmann got 4,823 (28.5 percent). She was followed by Mr. Paul with 4,671 (27.65 percent) and Mr. Pawlenty with 2,293 (13.5 percent).
The rest included Rick Santorum with 1,657; Herman Cain with 1,456; Rick Perry with 718; Mr. Romney with 567; Newt Gingrich with 385; Jon Huntsman with 69 and Thad McCotter with 35. There were 162 write in votes that got less than one percent of the total.
Mr. Perrys total was striking since his name did not appear on the ballot. He announced his candidacy earlier Saturday, during a speech in South Carolina, but still bested Mr. Romney, who won the straw poll in Ames four years ago. source
All that fuss for fewer than 17K votes ? And, really, with results no more dependable than an online poll. Would love to know how much $ and time was spent on each vote by candidate?
Same people that voted for Alan Keyes.
Now go back to making ethanol and don't drink any of it this time.

I forgot about him. Maybe he should just write a book to pay back that Tiffanys money, and call it a day.
Bachmann will be on Face the Nation, and probably some other Sunday talk shows. Maybe all of them. :)
