Sarah Palins seemingly surprise appearance at the Iowa State Fair this week drew some questions from the press about whether or not she was trying to steal the media spotlight from other GOP candidates. Tonight she appeared via live feed to Fox News host Sean Hannity to discuss the GOP debate last night, which included her praise of Newt Gingrich for taking on the media(Fox Newss Chris Wallace) and drew cheers from the crowd when she proclaimed I AM still considering a run for president.
Hannity simpply asked the former Governor of Alaska are you considering a run for the presidency of the United States? Palin replied I am still considering a run, Sean, adding I think the good folks near iowa, you can ask be in here and I think they would tell you, it is time this country is put back on the right track. She then went on to make many of the predictable talking points to the adoring crowd surrounding her. Watch below, courtesy of Fox News:

I’m 37, how old are you?
Also, please link the peace sign you talked about, don’t get all crazy and angry, I just can’t find it.
Yes, yes, yes
Yep. The relationship some Freepers have with Palin is like the high school nerd with a crush on the prom queen. They just just keep wishing and hoping she just keeps using them.
As opposed to the Vice Presidential nominee, with the largest Republican grass roots organization ever...
Funny that your name is “RINOs suck,” but you’re attacking the only non-RINO who can be a top-tier candidate.
I like Sarah, don’t get me wrong, but I can’t stand her voice. It hits me in the face like Roseann Barr’s grating voice and even worse, Fran Dresher’s voice. I just cannot bring myself to WANT to listen to it for 8 years. I like a sultry, sexy voice like Sharon Stone for example. I understand she has a lot of pashion but lots of pasionate people, Reagan for instance, didn’t raise his voice three octaves when he was excited. Bring on the hits if you will because of my sensitive ears. I think Palin would do a good job for this country but she’ll have to hire an interpreter.
sort of a superficial issue, dont you think? I mean would you really vote for Mitt or Newt because of the voice thing?
do you think so many weak superficial judgments over the last 50 years may be why the country has fallen to where it has? JFK looks better on TV, vote for him? Clinton’s ability to BS, Obama the first black president? Bush I “compassionate conservatism” signal to ruling class it was back to business as usual?
she has the guts to do and say the right thing far more than any other contender. This country sits on vast energy reserves while shipping American money and jobs overseas to Saudi Arabia and Hugo Chavez, while we’re in a recession , and so many R’s don’t get this. Maybe more do now, but for 30-40 years too many R’s are complicit in the fleecing of America. And some are worried that her voice is not Hollywood presidential material???
Saying what you think shows you don't even have to try to be a jerk. It just comes naturally, Trollsti2.
That's exactly what it's about here on FR as any case.
I've used many words in my lifetime to express my feelings about political candidates. Many have been derogatory, some have been complimentary.....but I guarantee you that "love" has never been one of them and never will be.
What bothers me about Palin is not the woman herself but her followers. Millions of people with a deep emotional loyalty to a politician is scary to me. It runs counter to my concept of what America is about. It's Obamaesque.
With Perry now officially entering and being the last candidate Palin should KNOW whether she is in or not yet she said she is still considering! She’s done this all wrong. She knows and it’s a little too little, little too late.
What if Palin announces she’s NOT running? So many are hoping and sure that she’s running. Why would she continue this after Perry is known to be in otherwise? But, really, what if she announces she’s out?!
Well there would be more than a few disappointed and some actually mad....but I think most have a plan B if she doesn't so it would be...Next!..once the wound is healed.
Perhaps she thinks that she would be a better president.
But, really, what if she announces shes out?!
I would go with Bachmann as my second choice.
As proven by the "success" of The Undefeated!
As if the success or failure of someone trying to cash in on Palin’s popularity means anything. Except I notice no-one tried to make a movie about Perry or Romney. (Well, there was that movie “Willard” about the guy who loved demonrats...)
Mediaite — “She then went on to make many of the predictable talking points to the adoring crowd surrounding her.” Mediaite sucks!
