Another department that needs to be defunded. This is beyond stupid.

Dear sonny, you are a fool, a proposed rule cannot change state law. Now read up on what the state law is in VA about CDLs and farmers. Which is about the same in every state.

Like most Federal bureaucrats, they need to create work for themselves.

This is another action that intends to extend federal control over food supplies.

This is ridiculous, most people drive tractors on private land.

This takes stupid to a whole new level. These people are dangerously stupid, they are literally trying to kill our economy.

If farmers can be required to pass CDL tests then candidates for Congress should be required to pass tests on the Constitution and the voters should be required to pass test on knowledge of Government and political leaders.

The reason that kids can get driver’s licenses at 14 in Kansas is so that they can drive the wheat from the field to the elevators. And in my experience, the trucks that they use don’t have any type of tags, maybe for Missouri too.

Republicans should demand a moratorium on new regulations and use this outrage to support their position.

Looking at three things here:
1- absolute control
2- in the Marxist eyes, small farmers are independent minded small business people, which they hate
3- Marxists need to control the food supply . . . it gives them more power to strong-arm non-compliant citizens; they have been known to create a punishing famine before
This proposal is evil to the core!

Time for background checks on lawmakers. They should be bonded to pay damages that they do. We are being overrun by the micromanages that are making others jump through their hoops. Conflict of intrest and lies are their ethics.

Congress or the president creates a department/agency, department/agency runs amok creating massive and bizarre legislation that takes freedom and prosperity away piecemeal in accordance to special interest groups that control the process.
This whole system is corrupt and needs to be dismantled.

I asked my son who lives in Indiana about this the other day. He and his brother-in-law farm about 700 acres. He said the same thing. That driver’s licenses are under state authority and Indiana which is nothing more than 200/mi x 300/mi of farmland would never adopt such a crazy thing. The state doesn’t have autority on your land. And besides, it’s really dumb. They don’t drive this equipment on roads anymore to move it around. They run it up on trailers and zip they’re gone with it.
It’s just another tax grab and it’s all about control. They are trying to get control of what goes on on your private land.
