Newt asked about loyalty testing and security provisions against infiltrators such as the communists who were in the government. Mentions historical cases.

Bachmann is doing very well. Santorum is not doing too bad himself. Romney thinks his presence there is a gift to us. Cain struggles for substance. Gingrich is experienced beyond all the others - that along with his ideology makes him dangerous. Pawlenty is doing pretty good. Paul is a loon. Huntsman should be a Democrat.

I didn’t post the original quote, btw. I like Sarah a lot, but being out and among all kinds of people every day (not just conservatives like me), I recognize that it will be a problem getting the cross-section necessary to win. I hear all the comments and strong reactions to her, unfortunately.

Just sayin’ the way it is out there.

Why is Ron Paul getting all the time?!!!

Shame on Fox for allowing him to ramble on promoting his brand of craziness. I had to turn off the television because Paul is such an embarrassment to republicans and conservatives. Dear lord, I wish he would (or someone would force him to) STFU.

Agree. He’s been pretty good tonight imo, when allowed to fully answer. Too bad he’s not a real player. I think they’re (Fox/establishment)trying to keep Mitt out of the bloodbath.

This has not been a very good night for her. Sarah wouldn’t have fallen for that idiot, set-up squabble.

Sarah’s non-participation is OUR loss, not hers!

Very true! We American voter want to hear all candidates in the debates and they should not be denied that.

This debate is for US, not for the candidates.

Fox is in the bag for Romney along with the other media...because they know that Romney will not pull out the independent and on-the-fence votes. He is too old guard and the Dems and libs know that.

We need to keep a box of nerf balls handy if we are so unfortunate as to encounter O’Reilly on our TV.

I’m more impressed with Newt tonight than I ever thought I would be.

He set the tone for the candidates taking it to the smarmy moderators. I’d take any of the eight over the press, even the now-questionable Fox.
