Of course you didn't. Neither did I. We are not typical American voters. We saw through his statements in the debates. We know how to do that. He basically put together a bunch of college words and rattled on but we listened closely and realized he said absolutely nothing everytime he spoke. Yet he got applause!
Sarah Palin's got my vote. It's winning the others' votes in order to beat Obama that concerns me. If she's going to run she needs to get in now.
If you're the one that posted the 1200 word post without the breaks, I didn't read beyond the first couple of sentences.
i don’t think the debates had anything to do with why he won. If the Bush was at 50% and the economy was in good shape, McCain likely wins. The 8 yrs of the GOP in the WH also hurt, it’s tough to win 3 terms in a row.
I’m just saying I don’t really think the debates will matter all that much next year.
Either the economy will have improved and Obama will win against anyone. Or, things will be the same or perhaps worse in which case he’ll lose against anyone and nothing he’ll say in the debates will matter
You missed it. Keep looking.
I’m too damned dyslexic to type more than a couple sentences. Wasn’t me.
OTOH, you and I agree upon much more than we disagree. You’re just more impatient.
Okay. Point taken. So you are not in the no Palin at any cost catagory. I will disagree that these *debates* were debates though. They were katie couric interviews on steroids. Sarah has honed her skills by talking with real people on the ground everywhere she goes. She silenced the union goons in Wisconsin on their own turf by looking them straight in the eye and telling them the truth about themselves. I’m convinced.
i think Rubio will be the VP Candidate no matter who the Presidential Candidate is.
I paraphrased nothing in my reply to your post. In fact, I copied and pasted your post above my reply so that paraphrasing was not necessary.

owebama is a teleprompter baby. Uh, uh, uh is the most he can string together on his own. In a one on one debate he will crumble.

Gingrich Defends Campain Stability

That is a beautiful thought. I’ll ruminate on that as I wander off to sandland.
G’nite all y’all.
Foremost, the survival of our republic stands upon the defeat of Obama.
I would agree with your scorecard. It is not good to see two governors with the necessary executive experience for the presidency on the bottom of the list.
If Palin were running she's got my vote and she had my vote since 2008.
I quoted your paraphrase in 1260.
Nite.
I think that is what we would like to see but I feel Rubio will not get on a ticket with some bafone he knows will not win...the VP does not carry the ticket, the guy at the top does albeit he can help. I don’t think either Rubio or Palin or anyone I can think of would be able to carry most of those on the platform this PM.
A wager on what? Cain is in the middle of the pack now. All I said is I don’t discount him yet. You dismissed him like he is Gary Johnson or huntsman. I said Cain shot to the top tier in the SC debate and then faded back. I don’t think he is likely to win, but he’s not out yet. I good performance this weekend or a later debate and he could move back up.
“Kiss my ass, Ron Paul.”
Ditto that. He really showed his butt tonight. And his crazed, loud, disruptive “fans” as well. I thought more of Santorum tonight just for going up against him.
When it comes to foreign policy - particularly Iran, Israel, the middle east in general and radical Islam - RP’s a downright danger to our country. Why won’t he just go away???
“gotta say I am liking Newt more than ever tonight.”
Gingrich has always been the go-to guy for bomb-throwing comments. He knows Washington, he knows Government.
Unfortunately, he also fits the mold of the slimy political whore with no cred, going along with whatever the Democrat-pushed Media meme of the moment is.
NO THANKS...
Maybe as Sec of State, or a Dept. Sec, but not as President.
Out of all the bodies on this stage tonight, I honestly thought ROMNEY delivered the best, and most presidential performance. But he is NO conservative.
And I question if he really has the gonads to throw it back at Obama, to his face.
This is just the prelims, and I’m not sweating it...
And don’t fall for the media meme that it’s “TOO LATE!” for anyone else to get in. There are STILL at least two people I’d like to hear from.
