One of the Republican seats lost in yesterday's election was that of Senator Dan Kapanke, a fine representative from the La Crosse, WI area.

In his place will now sit one of the absolute worst examples (or best if you're a far far far left lefty) of a dem/lib/prog/pop pig...one "Mrs" j. schilling.

I am ashamed of La Crosse. La Crosse is supposed to be a conservative town. Not any more. It is now branded as just another WI socialist community. The entire area - having thrown out a wonderful senator and hired a pig - makes me sick. I don't know why the vote turned out as it did, but I'll see if I can take a "deep dive" and find out.

Is this a case of "sour grapes"?? You bet your sweet ass, it is.

That was one of the most biased articles on the election that I have seen.
Letting this line stand is a journalistic crime:
Republicans nevertheless passed the bill, using a legislative manoeuvre that a judge later ruled was unconstitutional.

They did not state that this judge was overruled by the State Supreme Court.

I hope that the results from Wisconsin are predictive of the 2012 elections, they lost 4 to 2.

I hope next Tuesday goes well. I was listening to a caller this monring on Bill Bennett’s “Morning in America” show...he said this is like the Vince Lombardi days and the Green Bay Packers...”We’re on the 10 yard line but we’ve got to get the rest of the way.” Good on Wisconsin!!!!!

An honest reporter would cease calling it ‘collective bargaining rights’.

RE :"Voters have tilted in favour of Republicans in Wisconsin recall elections that were closely watched for signs of a backlash against Tea Party conservatives in a presidential battleground state. Republican candidates successfully defended four seats in the Wisconsin state senate in Tuesday's elections, retaining control of the senate and holding Democratic gains to only two seats, results showed on Wednesday. "

Of all the Republican figures we read about here I would say that Scott Walker is at the top of those we can point to as a role mode. What he is doing in WI, cutting spending while cutting taxes (something Republicans wouldn't do at the national level when in power), luring jobs to his state, is providing an example that defies every liberal economic theory/fairy tale about how to recover from a recession. This puts him #1 on liberals bullseyes list.

For months the MSNBC evening shows run by ex-Air America (socialist) hosts have been trying to rally liberal support to make a example of Walker last night, AND FAILED.
