I’m with you on that - probably a shill for another candidate (I just want a conservative that I don’t need to watch over my shoulder every 5 minutes).

I usually mention (until this week that is, now that I’m getting lazy) that Gore was at least a moderate in 1988. I remember him back then...and I don’t what the hell happened to him.

The swing state that had voted for Democrats in four of the previous five presidential elections turned into a deep red one that has chosen Republicans for president eight straight times and does not have a single Democratic statewide elected official.

Anyone who still considers Texas a swing state is drinking some dim KOOLAID.
