I usually mention (until this week that is, now that I’m getting lazy) that Gore was at least a moderate in 1988. I remember him back then...and I don’t what the hell happened to him.

You don’t listen to me, because you keep repeating canards that I inform you about, but here goes: I know exactly what happened to algore...he tried to run for President as a Moderate, and he got exactly nowhere because the national Dem party had become too liberal. So algore had to become more liberal if he ever hoped to get anywhere in the national Democrat party. Being like a typical Tennessean just was not going to cut it anymore...

I have a friend who used to be a charter pilot for Old Man Gore. He told me a long time ago that the Old Man was as sharp as a tack, and Gore the younger was as dumb as a box of rocks. He said the the old man told the younger every position to take, and was a very authoritative figure.
The Al Gore we have now is a very dysfunctional man, and that’s being kind.
