MSNC reports:
“In recall elections Tuesday in Wisconsin which gained national attention, control of the state Senate hung in the balance as votes were tallied in two close races.
At least three Republican lawmakers survived the Democratic recall effort. The three GOP winners were Sen. Robert Cowles, Sen. Sheila Harsdorf and Sen. Luther Olsen.
But most at risk as voting started Tuesday appeared to be three other Republicans, Alberta Darling, Randy Hopper and Dan Kapanke, all of whom barely won their races in 2008.
Kapanke lost Tuesday to Democrat Jennifer Shilling, who got 55 percent of the vote.”
