I would rather have about 3 feet of 1" steel pipe with a cross on each end. One to keep it from slipping out, the other for "effectiveness."

I've got a dozen composit softball bats for sale......Most are ASA approved only but some are ASA and USSA approved. Even got a couple that were "juiced" if you're interested......all are either 26 or 27 oz......

I was trying to think of other things the Brits could use. Someone mentioned wasp spray - the 15-20 foot long spray kind. Another one might be a wrist rocket or even a homemade slingshot. Getting hit with a ballbearing might be enough of a deterrent to some punk just wanting free stuff.

I should have been clearer. I mean one of those fittings that allows four pipes to meet. Like a T but with four openings. They aren't real common, but they have several nice edges.

I love the wasp spray! And the slingshot!

I had never considered bolting a skilsaw blade to a ballbat. I guess about a 3-inch carriage? Pretty nasty.
