According to the Faith Shared project, which initiated the Koran reading, 66 churches from 32 states joined that effort.
They should have just stuck to the Torah and the New Testament. After all, it was those two sources principally that Mohammed drew on in designing his religion. If everything in the Koran having anything to do with Christianity and Judaism were removed, there would be very little left.

Whether or not the Koran is monotheistic, Muslims would be better off as Scientologists. Not that Scientology has a better conception of G-d, but because it would shut them up and give them something to do besides trying to conquer the world and oppress all its populations.
