Kerry Blames The Tea Party For Credit Downgrade
By Ben Wolfgang-The Washington Times1
Sen. John Kerry on Sunday laid the blame for the recent downgrade of the nations credit rating at the feet of conservative House Republicans.
I believe this is, without question, the tea party downgrade, Mr. Kerry, Massachusetts Democrat, said on NBCs Meet the Press.
Standard & Poors rating agency on Friday dropped the U.S. credit rating from AAA to AA+, questioning the ability of leaders in Washington to deal seriously with the nations debt crisis.
The Obama administrations debt-ceiling proposal, which included more spending cuts than the measure signed into law last week but also contained controversial revenue increases, fell flat after stiff opposition from House Republicans, but Mr. Kerry said that debate is not yet over.
I think this is one of the most telling, important moments in our countrys history
this poses a set of choices, he said, referring to the 2012 elections, when voters will decide between the Obama administrations approach or the path preferred by the GOP-led House.

He believes ......
Too bad the majority of Americans know it’s the Obama Downgrade.
It’s historical.
Don’t be so sure about the “majority of Americans”
This is how they start. They utter a lie. The MSM picks it up followed by talk-radio. The lie gets amplified into a broader national audience with the expectation that there are enough idiots out there who would buy into this. Conservative talk radio falls into this trap and starts “debating” this (they need filling in air-time).
It’s time for the Republicans to stop playing defense and run some real hard-hitting ads on how the liberal-socilaist entitlement culture has gotten all of us into this where we are now on a trajectory toward Third World status. Yes scare the living daylights and the hell out of anyone who cares to listen.
As regards their taxing the “rich”, in reality they
are only taxing a minor percentage of that one or two
percent considered rich, and that is the bottom
of the category, the super rich will end up paying
nothing extra, perhaps adding another tax lawyer or
three. Again, it’s the small American who has just
climbed into the bracket that will pay the most.
The ‘Progressives’ should learn ‘Hauser’s Law’. Historically, taxpayers give the Federal Government no more than 19% of GDP. (Clinton raised it to 21% when he auctioned broadband spectrum.)
He and Hanoi Jane are very fortunate they were performing before a hopelessly liberal media or they would have hanged years ago. If anyone still thinks Walter Cronkite was a legitimate journalist they have had a significant dose of Koolaid.
