Violence is not inevitable, but it is becoming more likely as the Left continues to push along a well-worn track; the task of de-legitimizing and marginalizing Conservatives (and in fact anyone who dares oppose the Left) has long been part of the Progressive strategy. It begins with ridicule, and is often followed by accusations of mental deficiency or instability, and then by suggestions of "danger" and also of a need for potential governmental action to minimize the "threat" to public safety.

If left unchecked, the results will be catastrophic. In order to avoid such a result, we must begin to demand - LOUDLY - that Progressives be held accountable for their vicious and purposefully provocative language.

The fact that conservatives (including many of us here) own vastly more guns and ammunition than those on the Left will be of little comfort if we are ever forced to employ them in defense of our lives and families. Ask anyone who has ever survived a civil war (as in Bosnia or Somalia): having been on the "right" side does not diminish the physical extent of the catastrophe or the psychic damage it inflicts even on the just. Simply put: this shit has to stop now, or we will all be waist deep in it.

You seriously believe that we can "stop" this by demanding that progressives knock off the flammable rhetoric? The left is nearly irredeemable, and isn't coming back to sanity anytime soon. They're using the well worn play book of their Nazi and Bolshevik forebears, and will soon begin moving past flaming rhetoric, to real violence.

The author is right. Our country is almost on a war footing between left and right. The left dominates nearly every one of society's command and control points, and is already using their inherent power to destroy all opposition to the realization of their long quest to transform America.

They feel themselves losing their grip at the 11th hour, and will stop at nothing to achieve their ultimate goal. War is upon us, whether we want it, or not.
