Nowcast as of 11:57 am EDT on August 7, 2011
Isolated to scattered showers were beginning to develop over and move into eastern Pennsylvania. Some of these showers may move eastward into northwestern New Jersey. In addition...any of the showers may strengthen into isolated thunderstorms through 2:00 PM. The coverage of showers and thunderstorms should remain no greater than scattered through early afternoon...but rain amounts may be locally heavy and up to a half inch where rain occurs. Any showers or thunderstorms will move toward the east at 15 to 20 miles an hour. Additional showers and thunderstorms are expected during this afternoon.
Flash Flood Watch in effect until 8 PM EDT this evening..
Here’s hoping we thread the needle storm cell wise.. I’d expect to see drops on the lenses more than once..
