America lost its soul when they voted for Obama. Greed was not found in corporate America, greed was found in the hearts of every American that voted for the man who was buying their vote.
The GOP is acting like a group of whores. They don't fight to cut spending, they position themselves to control where the spending will take place because they're more concerned about what the New York Times thinks while they nail America's coffin. I'm disgusted.

The problem with your analogy is that presumably everyone in your household is in agreement and working towards the same goal. That clearly is not the case here. The democrats have the senate and the white house and do not want what we want. That makes it more difficult to get everything done that you want to accomplish.
