We will see how things turn out, but so far, things have not looked very promising. Maybe I should stop listening to Limbaugh and Levin, but they have convinced me to be very pessimistic.
Limbaugh was already proven wrong about the Boehner Bill becoming the Reid bill (Red State’s idea as well).
I think this was leaked to destroy it, because I don’t see 0bama going to his base with this bill.
I’ve been accused of being too negative. But like you, I listen to people who are a lot smarter than I am who tell me things are bad and going to get worse.
I’m pessimistic myself, but so far, this is more of a “win” for us than I expected considering it looked like Boehner was in full on retreat mode earlier.
