He referenced the scene in "Blazing Saddles", when the citizens of Rock Ridge were asked by the new black sheriff for just 24 more hours to solve the crisis.

And he used authentic frontier gibberish when he said it.

Just from the headline the first scenes that came to mind were:

1. The mounted Indians at the top of the rise, “ugh schvartzers”

2. “Mongo just pawn in game of life”
