DeMint and Rand are good guys and probably voted against it because it was a bad bill and the debt limit shouldn't be increased. Grahamnesty is a long time back stabber. I don't know about the other three.
Conservatives don’t approve of this bill, it was written to please the Senate RINOs.
Hatch and Graham look silly going for conservative ‘cred’ here.
Seems strange that Reps would be voting against this but that’s how Senate Kabuki works.
McNuts apparently voted for it, so as to vote against the middle earth hobbits/Tea Party!
I jumped in earlier without knowing who they were. Hatch and Graham are suspect. But I will reserve judgement until I see how this plays out. I think I can give a pass to the others for know. Lee is a very good guy. If Reid can’t get his bill through the Senate he may come back to this one.
Vitter is solid conservative and probably voted against it for the same reason Paul and DeMint did.
Mike Lee is a good guy and Vitter has always been a reliably conservative vote. Hatch is trying not to be TEA Partied next year.
I think this is one of the all too rare times Grahamnesty stands with us on principle.
WRT it's being a bad bill because the debt limit shouldn't be increased, that's true but even more important is it's bad because it sets up these scummy little committees which will be composed of 6 RINOs and 6 Rats and they will certainly strip the BBA out of it in the interest of compromise.
IMO we should have just said, "We passed a good bill--CCandB--and Reid's afraid to have a vote because his vulnerable senators cannot afford to vote against a balanced budget amendment that 75% of Americans WANT!!!"
The fact that Boehner coughed up this latest nasty blob and forced it through the house rather than go with the infinitely less bad and easier to sell to America first bill tells me the fix is in and we are about to be screwed by our "leadership". They are definitely chipping away at the TEA Party representatives...
