They have joined the villains of American history who have been sufficiently craven to inflict massive harm on innocent victims to achieve their political goals. The author's ignorance of recent history is appalling. The amount of harm done to Americans by the socialist policies of the Democrat Party over the past 60 years is many times greater (and with no signs of abating any time soon) than any policies of the Republican Party.

Would that be the crowd of disaffected and anti-American Marxists who put an ineligible, criminal, unfit, incompetent, American-hating, radical populist in the WH????

Interesting that the terrorist that have spent this country into oblivian are now hailed as the responsible ones looking to compromise and move forward. This is of course Washington speak for stay the course on the same path of destruction. The TEA party is the only opposition GROUP to come Washington in a century well armed and prepared to fight the battle. Terrorist now, Patriots later.

You know, if the Democrats really believed this, they would be voting for the Boehner plan. It could easily pass without TP votes.

Terrorists?
The Politico is getting soft. They forgot to add "Hooligans", "Economic Wreckers", and "Blood-sucking Kulaks"!

Politico is the DNC’s blog, so what do you expect?
To: Sub-Driver
yes- the Tea Party is not approaching this with the same balance and compromise obama and the left wing did with failed policies such as the stimuloss or obozocare...

The hyperbole of the left never ceases to amaze me. They've called us tea partiers ignorant, uneducated and racist and that didn't work. Now we are hostage takers and terrorists, just because we don't want wasteful, bloated and freedom-sucking government.
A pox on them all!

Well yea...when you take away an addicts fix..they think you are a terrorist.
DC Incorporated is filled with spending addicts. Watch them scream with all pity, but do not stop the treatment.

How can the tea party members thwart the will of the House? Boehner should work with Pelosi to get the votes he needs. After all, the Dems are not partisan nor are they hostage takers.

Decades of out of control spending has brought this country to the brink. The hacks in DC past and present have brought us this crisis.
The Tea Party did not cause this crisis. Only a bill that begins to address this is the only solution.

I assumed this was going to be satire, but the author appears to mean what he says. What a lunatic.

It doesn’t seem like we are that far away from a movement to incarcerate and probably execute members of the Tea Party.
and who could blame the libs. I mean, calls to cut federal spending and reduce the size of government could not be more treasonous to these liberal bastards.
