It’s to disrupt Reid’s plans to vote it down in the dead of night.

It must be very close. Even with the GOPers committed to not voting yes, I figured that enough of them and enough Dems would not vote to allow it to squeak through 212-211 or so. This must not even be in the bag.

Not yet. Boehner says they will vote tonight. Boehner is trying to strong arm people. FreedomWorks is still actively engaged on twitter trying to get people to contact Congress.

That’s what I was thinking too, but now the Senate will just vote it down in the morning. It has to be the lack of votes in the House.

Boehner and Reid have concocted a deal.
Boehner passes it. Reid amends it. House passes it.

Our only hope is to not let it leave the House the first time.

Call, tweet, email Demint Rand and Lee and beg them not to let it get out of the Senate.

Could it be, Boehner doesn't have the vote(s) needed? I'm trying to remain optimistic!

The Corner at NRO has a list of 24 Republican “no’s”.

Boehner will have to flip at least 1 of those to pass the bill.

I hope the damn bill is dead. It does not represent meaningful cuts that would reduce the debt.

I pity the conservative fools, (naw i don’t pity them) that came out
in public for this plan. Their as$es are hanging out now.

I think it’s to force a daytime vote by the Senate.

Yeah. Right. It ain’t ready cause they don’t have the votes. Bonehead will get his votes and pass it like a thief in the night. Remember those midnight votes that Jim Wright used to push through, before he was ousted?

My representative, Chip Cravaack, isn’t on the no list.

Time for me to remind him who he works for.
