I’m sitting here in incredulity.

There’s a TD that’s formed in the Gulf. How long before it might become a hurricane? Who knows.

Where are the models expecting it to hit? Most likely, Texas. Texas, where the weather has been unseasonably warm since May.

I live in the Pacific Northwest...the ONLY part of the country to have cooler and wetter than normal weather for this summer.

On Saturday, my wife and I are going on vacation. Our kids are already at the place where we’re going. Anyone care to guess WHERE they are and WHERE we’re going?

You got it. TEXAS. About 45 miles north of Houston. And it looks like one of those forecast tracks is taking it right over the top of where my in-law’s place is.

I was looking forward to escaping the rain. I can’t win for losing.

You’re leaving the Pacific NW and vacationing in Texas - in the middle of the summer?

Good Lord, I hope you’re visiting relatives.

If it should rain from this weather system, I will thank you profusely for it, if that makes it any better! :D

Have a great vacation, at any rate!
