Ailing Libyan agent Abdelbaset Ali Mohmet al-Megrahi, convicted for life over the 1988 Lockerbie bombing, made his first public appearance in nearly two years at a meeting in support of strongman Moamer Kadhafi. Megrahi, 59, who has terminal cancer, was released from a Scottish jail on compassionate grounds in August 2009. He is the only man convicted over the bombing of Pan Am flight 103 which killed 270 people, mostly US nationals.
Television images showed an emaciated Megrahi on Tuesday, sitting on a wheelchair, at a meeting of his tribe in support of the embattled Kadhafi's regime.

Why can´t NATO or the supposedly phantom Americans kill this guy? ´Same reason they keep on missing Kadhafi it seems.

He needs a price on his head. I’m sure there are a lot of Libyan rebels who be happy to hunt him down and snuff his worthless ass for the right price. If not, he’d make for a swell training exercise for new members of “the Unit”.
This displays to the entire world what a foolish man Kenny MacAskill was, and still is. The Scottish government’s cabinet secretary for justice, he strenuously urged that terrorist al-Megrahi be released on “humanitarian grounds.” He would listen to no one.
