DONNA — U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers were processing 33 Mexican soldiers late Tuesday afternoon after the troops inadvertently crossed onto the U.S. side of the Donna-Rio Bravo International Bridge.
Details of the incident remain unclear, but CBP spokesman Felix Garza said his agency was processing the soldiers for return to Mexico after they found themselves in U.S. territory with four Mexican Humvees.
We were going to park and walk across into mexico but
before we knew it bang we were over the border no problem.
Now coming back we were searched minutely.
Mexican Humvee...... tiny silver chain steering wheel, low rider with hydraulics, milspec jumper cables, 6,000 watt speakers, $2,000 rims with bald tires.
No wonder they were able to cross the border without anyone noticing.

Maybe it was a trial dry run to take over California.
That was juarez thirty years ago....there was literally
no place to turn off once you approached the border.
Coming back we had to turn out everything in the truck,
while guys with mirrors checked underneath.

Easy there Buzzard. Not every trip across a border is an invasion. I have a friend who was on board a California National Guard helicopter that took off from San Diego, took an incorrect bearing in clouds, then had an "Oh, (expletive deleted)" moment, when the clouds cleared, and they saw that the road down below them wasn't IH-5.
Nobody was court martialed, but doing something that causes your state Adjutant General to have to apologize to the Pentagon, because the Pentagon had to apologize the the State Department, because the State Department had to apologize to Mexico, is not calculated to enhance your prospects of promotion.
