Networks hot for Casey (Anthony) Lawyer
NY Post ^ | 7/24/11

Casey Anthony's lawyer, Jose Baez, has been living like a king in New York City, eating steak dinners with Matt Lauer and sleeping at the Mandarin Oriental -- while network reps jostle to sign him as a legal eagle to eventually score the big interview.

"Everyone is trying to buy him," an industry source told us.

"He's the key to Casey Anthony."

The Post reported that network reps met with Baez a week after the verdict, and he made it clear that Anthony would not be making TV appearances for six to nine months.

So the networks are dangling a legal-analyst position in front of Baez to get access to Anthony when she's ready to talk.

"He wants to be the next big talking head," a source said.

"They need him down the road to score an interview with Casey when she's less radioactive."

The best thing we can do is ignore this loser bunch

Her fate should be that no one will pay her even a dollar.

I agree—the “Justice” system is all about lies and innuendoes now and obscuring the “truth”. The best liar wins and there is no repercussions for the “twisting” of the truth for lawyers—even though they take an oath to uphold that truth by the court (or do they anymore?????)

We have come a long way with the philosophy of Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr and John Austin, etc.......morality can be separated from law and words don’t matter.

That was never the intent of the Constitution and our legal system for over a hundred years and this destruction of Rule of Law and Just Law was intentional—to be able to re-assign “right and wrong” by their own arrogant standards (unequal law) so they and their friends could profit off of crimes.

“Right Reason according to Nature” is the foundation of our legal system. It implies that some things are ALWAYS wrong.....Universal Truths. It is where our Natural Rights come from and “inalienable rights”.

Unseemly, at best.

When she’s less “radioactive,” she’s also less marketable. By then, she’s out of the headlines, and her appearance on an interview will likely draw a big, ho-hum.

I agree. If the networks really wanted an interesting show on the Anthony case, they’d do an in-depth investigation into what has gone wrong with our jury system.

He is vile. IMO, in some ways he is even worse than Anthony, because she is clearly mentally unstable, but he is just a disgusting bottom-feeder dying to make a buck off that precious little girl’s death. He knows Anthony is guilty, but he can barely contain his glee and the dollar signs in his eyes are so horrifyingly obvious.

During the trial the same media hacks now courting this attorney were commenting on his incompetency. Now the goofy jury aquits this woman and he is Clarence Darrow. In all probability this individual and his client will make a lot of money as an idle, trivial and excitement seeking public will flock to hear the lies.

It has come to the point that defense lawyers like him have no interest in whether their client is guilty or not. They probably don't even ask them. It's all about winning.

Any man, especially a father of children, who knows that he is going on national television on a weekday morning, uncensored, and, with that knowledge, in the presence of the nation's children, utters the vile, graphic image in words of his accusation against the father is unfit to appear as any sort of "authority" on a reputable network.

That was a shocking and inexcuseable choice of action on his part on behalf of his client, because he knew the shock value, as well as the fact that the unedited version would air as he spoke, thereby polluting the minds of innocent children.

I think he'll make a lot of money because people will engage him when they need a dirtbag lawyer. She might get money on an initial interview, but then she'll blow the money and end up broke.

Any money she gets she’ll put right up her nose. She’s Amy Winehouse without the talent.

Oddly enough, as soon as this bottom-feeder started talking about George’s “molestations,” I knew poor old George was as innocent as the day is long. You can only go to the well once too often with that claim. It was used in the Menendez Brothers trial too but the jury was way too smart to buy the argument. Unfortunately, this jury was way too dumb and bought it hook, line and sinker. A few freepers as well!

With the millions of unborn babies being slaughtered in this country, I guess the murder of a 3 year old is becoming meaningless. This is a great lesson for would be murderers. Kill someone, hide the body for 6 months, walk free.

Yes, she'll spiral out of control once she gets money.
