As they arrested three others on July 8 for what seems to be the same plot, and they had Al Qaeda connections, I would not count on it sticking.

My initial reaction to reading that it was a “right-winger” was that this is probably a lie, perpetrated by the left, that either it was a leftist pretending to be a right-winger, or it was a jihadist that the media is portraying as a right-winger, or that it was just another nutcase that the state-run media is trying to portray as a Christian/conservative/right-winger.
Also, aside from the horrible evil of attacking children, is no one else a bit surprised that these kids were at a “youth camp” run by the Labor Party (hardcore socialists)? Does that not smack of “Hitler’s youth?” Maybe this is common and every political party has “youth camps,” but I’ve never heard of it.
I thought some Islamic group already claimed responsibility. What the deuce is going on here?

This reminds me of an incident that happened in NYC about 20 yrs ago. Badlands, a notorious gay bar in the West Village was shot up by some nutcasae. About 10 people were injured, miraculously no one was killed. The media went into a feeding frenzy when it was revealed the suspect was the son of an NYPD chaplain. That is until his mug shot was released and it turned out to be a Black guy. All of a sudden it was “nothing to see here, move on”.
