No hell way this was the work of just oneguy
“No hell way this was the work of just oneguy”
One guy with enough time, money and planning (and a major screw loose), yeah, it could be done.
But I want to see how this develops. A lot of fishy things on other threads...
I believe it could of been one guy....he called all these kids to him so many came and felt it safe because he was masqurading as a policeman....then he pulled out the weapon’S, and more than one I read.
Golly like lambs to the slaughter. Terrible...can’t imagine the parents and to think so many kids saw this. Just awful!
Why not?
The old phrase, “Fishing in a barrel” springs to mind.
With NO ONE armed to resist, and no large group willing to risk their lives in a mass charge, WHO or WHAT was expected to stop him?
“An armed society is a polite society”, an unarmed society is just a mass of potential victims with no means to avoid slaughter.
Had I been unable to reach quickly a weapon some years ago I would not be here now to annoy you today. ;-)
Once you have been forced to use a firearm for defense, you will never give up that right.
Others should learn from the numerous examples, but do not.
No doubt the media and liberals (redundant) will push the wrong lesson from this.
Remember that this is a very tiny island. It’s not as if the kids could just run away in all directions as they could on the mainland. Swimming away takes much longer than running. It also means that there is no concealment or cover as you flee by water except by going underwater. And even a pistol can shoot farther than most people can breath underwater, let alone a rifle or assault weapon. Finally, if he was wearing a police uniform, then he’s got the element of surprise on top of that. A kid who didn’t see the initial attack but hears the gunshots is very likely to go towards the supposed policeman for protection.
It reminds me of that South Korean mass murder case where a cop went house to house killing many as his uniform gave him an edge of surprise.
