The 32-year-old Norwegian man arrested for gunning down children on the holiday island of Utoya has been named locally as Anders Behring Breivik. Described as 6ft tall and blond, he is reported to have arrived on the island of Utoya and opened fire after beckoning several young people over in his native Norwegian tongue.
Reports suggest he was also seen loitering around the site of the bomb blast in Oslo two hours before the island incident. More than 30 are believed to have been killed - seven in Oslo and between 25 to 30 on Utoya Island, 50 miles north of the capital. Police have said the attacks do not appear to be linked to Islamist terrorism but they are linking the two incidents.
Initially, however, it was not known what the motives were - whether the gunman had been radicalised and was part of a militant Muslim group waging Jihad or was alternatively trying to further a home-grown political cause. The Oslo bomb blast was outside a government office, while the island of Utoya is reportedly owned by the Norwegian Labour Party.
Teenagers on the Norwegian holiday island of Utoya had to 'swim for their lives' and hide in trees when the gunman fired indiscriminately at them.

While European styles are different, he has "look" about that him that has me thinking he might fit in in San Francisco.
I realize it’s early in the investigation, but I did read that they found “additional explosives on the island”. How would this guy have been able to do all he apparently did AND get more explosives onto the island. If the “farmer angle” is correct and that was how he could get the large amount of fertizer needed to make an Okla City type bomb - then we are talking about a physically large bomb in Oslo. It doesn’t seem logical that he could get another fertilizer type bomb out to the island without raising eyebrows. If the island explosives are something more compact - one would think there would be more to this than a disgruntled farmer. Hopefully the truth will come out.
In the Masonic outfit he looks quite a bit heavier. The beardlet photos (there’s another one somewhere) he looks lighter in weight and younger.
If Murdoch had just tapped their phones, we'd have the real truth.
I hear you get off somewhat easier if you have one of the little cars since you ran and were not weary.

At least when I found out about the position of the Church, I did leave, although it took some time...
He looks like David Ducovney.
It was Ringo Starr.
Oh my Gawd, the episode of the X-Files where they cloned Duchovney was actually true!! Some guy chain smoking Marlboros may have dozens more of this guy all over the world!!! You know, you're right.
I agree you should due to the position of the Church. I have to say, though, I know a good many Masons who are doing a better job of living an exemplary life than are many who are critical of them. Degenerate types don't seem that attracted to being Masons, at least that's been my experience. I'm sure there are examples to the contrary.

Subsequent findings may prove me wrong—indeed, the Norwegian government may want the world to think he was a loner—but I can’t believe this guy pulled off two major, major attacks essentially simultaneously and at some distance from each other all by himself.
That’s where I have real trouble.
(Since comment #1 was removed, I’m piggybacking on #2)
This guy looks like the typical blonde Nordic type Hollywood and the media have been portraying as the standard international terrorist since the 1980s instead of the swarthy Middle Eastern muslims that do 95% of it.
I think you’re right. And I think maybe the hairline in the Masonic photo has receded a bit more, too.
Ah. Yeah, it may surprise some, but Muslims don’t have a monopoly in the psychopath market.
Yes - he has a steep hairline in the beardlet photo but the Masonic gear photo it is definitely more receding. To me he looks older than 32 in the gear photo.
Someone who’s just a regular nutcase doesn’t commit this kind of slaughter. Someone with a mission does.
Actually, someone with a mission and some help.
Car bombs are also a standard Muslim attack tactic.
