Both my Senators (Warner and Webb) are Democrats; and voted Party line. But I repeat myself.

There defense is, a vote to continue debate is not a vote against anything, they will say there were some parts that needs fine tuning, same old crap different day.

Okay, I get why Gillibrand didn’t vote. But, the only other two not voting were John Effen Kerry and Juan McCain? Are the two of them off together somewhere, holding hands and writing a Gang of 2 plan?

In looking at this chart, it brings up something that bothers me about Congressional practices.

First, you shouldnt be able to not vote. If you dont vote, you should leave.

Second, The way the vote is phrased, you have to say yes to “table” it, so it looks like the dems voted in affirmation of the bill, when really they voted in affirmation to drop it.
