If you heard the call, boner was legal hedging the talk, so he was lying, parse his comments.
I didn’t have Rush on but the transcript of Tammy Faye to Rush does not sound reassuring. I smell a cave in coming.
You’re an idiot and a liar.
“If you heard the call, boner was legal hedging the talk, so he was lying, parse his comments.”
I heard the call. I can’t say he was lying, but he certainly was tentative and uncomfortable. He is in over his head, and should resign in favor of someone who is a fighter.
You’re an idiot and a liar.
I thought the same thing, Boehner was lying. What he is afraid of is that people will put so much pressure on Republican Congress members that he won’t be able to get enough support for the Obama’s plan.
How many Rs can Boehner lose and still pass the Obamaplan.
I too heard it. Pure lawyer/politician talk. I needed a bath afterward.
I don’t think he was legal hedging. I think he very clearly said he was in favor of cut/cap/balance, but that he had to have a fallback position. Since the House cannot enact legislation on its own, that only makes sense to me.
The Republicans control only one of the three constitutional parties to this discussion: them, the Senate, and the Potus. The democrats have 2 slices and the republicans have only one.
Since any revenue bill originates in the House, by the Constitution, there is no way that anything dealing with increased revenue can be put in any bill without the House being able to kill it.
I heard it too.. Boehner sounded very squirrely.
