The American Psychological Association needs to create a new ICD-9 code for Palin Derangement Syndrome (maybe 201.2?). The Washington Post‘s Jonathan Capehart ripped into Sarah Palin for the above images:
Folks want to be able to envision someone sitting in the Oval Office. They don’t necessarily want to envision them in the pages of Esquire magazine’s “Sexiest Woman Alive 2011” or Maxim. She can’t possibly be taken seriously as a presidential contender dressed like that, especially since this is the second time she has graced Newsweek in a less-than-presidential pose.Are you kidding me? Maxim?! She is wearing a sweatshirt, not thong underwear and stilettos! And that first image from NewsWEAK was co-opted from a previous article in a RUNNING magazine. What about the photos of Obama in his mom jeans, is that presidential? Of course it is, because he is a man. A nice Marxist man, so his questionable fashion choices, and girly man pitches, are oh so presidential.

I think it’s funny (pathetic) that there was that Daily Mail article praising MOs fashion sense then lo and behold, here’s one critical of SP. JournOlist coordination is alive and well in the media.
Is there someone on the planet who didn’t know this was coming? The question then might go like this, “why the hell do it in the first place?” Sheesh.

I wasn’t aware that one had to look Presidential if one is not the President or even a candidate for said office.
