Wait a minute, earlier today he was saying Obama was the problem that wouldn't be solved while he's in office, now this?

The problem here is no one on this site, can read or think for themselves anymore.

Y'all sound like the yahoos SanFran Nan paints you to be.

McConnell proposes to make that loying prick in the White House, PUT IT IN WRITING. Taking away his political BS.

Right now, BarryO is positioning himself for max political gain, and zero downside.

Mitch's move kills that.

The GOP is going to sign on to “The Grand Bargain”.

Both you and McConnell are making the error of believing your opponent is one who will negotiate in good faith. He won’t. As you wrote, he’s a liar. What is more disturbing, is that he is suicidally bent on destroying America.

Giving such a monster control of the debt ceiling is insane. What does our Dear Leader care if blame is to be apportioned? He will simply lie about it, and his Media minions will spread the lie, and more debt is piled upon the Nation.

McConnell is a fool. He should have shut his mouth and played out what was a winning hand. But, he has blinked and now the whole strategy is in ruins. The Dear Leader wins again, courtesy of a stupid RINO.

I'm with you, hobbsy - it's like no one on this site leans back and engages their brainpan before hitting REPLY.

This plan ain't gonna go over well with Obama and the criminal underclass - they're not going to like it one little bit. It forces them to come out in the open and cockroaches just hate that.

This isn’t about playing politics. This is about saving this country. It’s a little late for these games.

I agree, at least to this extent: what McConnell is proposing isn’t something you can deal with by calling him names. That’s the response syndrome the liberals have fallen into because they don’t have any facts from which to argue.

If his is a bad idea, it won’t be because of the quality of the invective aimed at him. Not much thought in this string of posts.

Perhaps on its face.

But note that the unilateral Zero increase would have to come with equivalent cuts, which Congress can reject with a “resolution of disapproval”, which Zero can then veto!

So if he vetoes the “disapproval” he gets the increase!!! And there is nothing that says the equivalent spending cuts must be immediate. He can raise the limit to fund his pet socialist causes and push off the spending cuts to 2050 if he wants. Where’s the “win” in that?

Do you really think the complicit media and sheeple will place any of the blame for the resulting economic disaster where it belongs? Of course not, the Republicans will be blamed for letting Zero play the happy socialist Pied Piper with all OUR money.

Before you go insulting everyone and looking like an A$$ .. perhaps YOU need to look at the entire 'sell-out'!?

There is also an option in there that gives Obama the power to VETO the very cuts that he proposes later!

What you are saying makes no frickin’ sense at all. There can be no upside to giving the traitor in the WH unlimited power in regards to the debt ceiling.
