OK .. So I did some reading and now I know about Dutch Tulip bubbles (It actually was interesting - thank you) but I’m not sure I get the reference about “And when a loud and passionate element shout that there is something significant on the northern bark of four or five trees.”
Is it a Grimm Fairy Tale or some such? The only thing I found was the old adage about tree moss on trees.
The reference goes to the old cliche about people who cannot see the forest for the trees. In fighting the Socialist types since I left High School, many years ago--including making fools out of many in College & Law School, I have gotten enough into their heads to realize that that saying really does describe them. Most of them have serious perceptual deficits. (See Perceptual Deficit.)
I am not referring to the demagogues, who exploit those suffering from that disability; but it really is the condition of those whom sociopathic Leftists such as Keynes and Lenin ridiculed, even while they exploited them.
