THE FIGHT over same-sex marriage - a topic undiscussed 20 years ago, a shocking proposition a decade ago - will soon be over. It will take some years more, and battles remain, but the outcome of the war is clear.
This may seem a remarkable claim, given the federal Defense Of Marriage Act, the 2008 rejection of same-sex marriage by California voters, and the laws of a majority of states, all of which aim to preserve traditional, heterosexual marriage. And there are still more than a few politicians who indulge in homophobia, most notably Michele Bachmann, who recently became the first presidential candidate to sign an anti-gay-marriage pledge.

This is just sodomite psy-ops.
The idea of a Judeo-Christian ethic in this country is gone, washed away by the rising tides of depravity. All that’s left are the texts of our ancestors and written thoughts and ideas of our forefathers, but no one wants to pay attention to a bunch of doddering old fools, right?
...Right?
This is just sodomite psy-ops.
Just another Bachmann hit piece.
I can't even remember the last major show I watched that didn't feature at least one gay character. Always shown in a positive light, which is nothing short of brain washing. the disconnect between the reality of the gay lifestyle and how it is depicted on TV and in movies is even greater than what Hollywood and news outlets have been doing for blacks for 30+ years. It's a campaign to change preconceptions based on flat out false information, and it's working to a large extent.
Here in WI, homo marriage is banned and was upheld by our Supremes. The only way this gets overturned is from a ruling by SCOTUS and that simply isn’t happening.
In a 2000 year context, it’s just a fad. Like the Inquisition, which was longer but less fabulous, people will eventually regain their theological and moral bearings.
is this why Vin diesel came out? his new movie will be too fast too fabulous. (/s)
boston globe and a homosexual author....
A revival in our land, a move of God’s Spirit, could stop our gallop toward Gomorrah.
“...which is nothing short of brain washing. the disconnect between the reality of the gay lifestyle and how it is depicted on TV and in movies is even greater than what Hollywood and news outlets have been doing for blacks for 30+ years.”
How has Hollywood and the news outlets brainwashed their viewers in their depiction of blacks causing a disconnection with reality?
no barf alert?
Wisconsin’s marriage amendment passed by 59% in 2006, one of the states that only passed it in the 50-60% range. My own state, Va., was also one of these. As soon as the homosexualists think they have the votes they will be screaming for the popular vote repeal process.

It’s disgusting that grown men love to play in each other’s dung and want the rest of us lovingly accept it as being normal. Well, sodomites can push their mess if they want and they may get a bunch of people to give them what they want, but God will NEVER accept their filthy lifestyle. Period.
The Bible prophesied that there will be a time when the world will be just like it was in Sodom & Gomorrah. Homosexuality was rampant and homosexuals were wild and lawless. When it gets like that again then get ready for God’s judgement to rain down again.
Response: Agreed.
Comment:A we are members of a dying civilization whose primary "good things" are: Tolerance-(meaning the inability to say yes or no, the inability to take a stand.);egalitarianism, apathy, lack of leadership; constant talking; a complete dedication to a life of eating, drinking, drugging, copulating, evacuating the bowels all followed a good solid sleep with lots of snoring; the constant gentle movement of cash throughout society achieved by taking from one to give to another; the total dedication of the individual to a life of pleasure and whatever power that he can grab.
All the more reason to get government out of the marriage business completely, before it’s too late.
“They have power right now, but remember, not one state when on the ballot, wanted homosexual marriage.”
Arizona failed to pass a pro-marriage amendment (51-49% if I recall), then passed it a couple of years later. So perhaps it can change for the better. But the general trend seems to be of accepting “gay marriage”.
The average of the state amendments that have passed is 67%, but most of them passed in the middle of the last decade. I imagine the majority would still pass, and many would pass by a lot, but by a somewhat lower %. There are some that passed in the low 50% range that might not pass now.
It will be interesting to see what happens to prop.8 if it is upheld by our black robed masters, it only passed by 52% in 2008, if I recall.
