This battle isn't over. They have power right now, but remember, not one state when on the ballot, wanted homosexual marriage. That means that every person who voted against homosexual marriage saw a judge overturn their will. I think most people know in their hearts this is wrong. Some push that knowledge aside for political reasons, others think tolerance is letting someone have whatever they want even if its bad for them, some see it in their families and don't want to seem unloving to their loved one and others are just depraved themselves. This is long from being over. People are praying and God is listening. Our God is holy, right and just. He will not stand for this for too long. The lefts god is what they created her or him to be & has no power. Abraham ask that Sodom not be destroyed for the sake of 10 believers. I believe God is keeping us from total ruin. We see His warnings everywhere. I just wouldn't want to be here if God's people were gone.
“They have power right now, but remember, not one state when on the ballot, wanted homosexual marriage.”
Arizona failed to pass a pro-marriage amendment (51-49% if I recall), then passed it a couple of years later. So perhaps it can change for the better. But the general trend seems to be of accepting “gay marriage”.
The average of the state amendments that have passed is 67%, but most of them passed in the middle of the last decade. I imagine the majority would still pass, and many would pass by a lot, but by a somewhat lower %. There are some that passed in the low 50% range that might not pass now.
It will be interesting to see what happens to prop.8 if it is upheld by our black robed masters, it only passed by 52% in 2008, if I recall.
